I fell in love with the ZARA (TRF section) jacket the moment I saw it.
It’s whimsical and silly and and looks like something I’d wear if I lived in L.A and hung out on Venice Beach – a little post surf cover up in other words!
Needless to say the palm print is a bonus – I love palms (which must be a good thing as there is no risk I will run into a pine tree anytime soon in Dubai).
When asked if I wanted to participate in a street style feature for a weekly magazine I thought that it would be a perfect piece to use, illustrating what my personal style is all about.
(After the shoot I asked the photographer to kindly snap a few pieces for the blog but I’m looking forward to seeing the pro image in print).
I teamed the jacket with a bag from Aila (link HERE), boyfriend jeans from PRPS Heirloom (available on ShopBop but I snapped mine up for a bargain at the Boutique 1 outlet), a lace blouse from Elizabeth & James, neon necklace from H&M and golden sandals from Mango (link HERE).
P.S The PRPS jeans run big in size and stretch quite a bit – I am wearing size 25 and they’re falling of my bum. The hunt for the perfect boyfriend jean continues. Any tips?
