INSIDE-1

INSIDE-2

Oman based Creme De La Creme magazine interviewed me on how I perceived the Chanel Cruise show experience as well as the collection. You can read my take on it all in the clippings above. 🙂

Work & Play

The other day I worked on a photo shoot adjacent to my favourite spot on Saturdays – the Ripe Market. It was a brilliant combo of work and pleasure as I got to pop out every 30 minutes or so and schmooze with the farmers market regulars.

I wore what really sums up a typical Teresa outfit: micro shorts (these ones from ZARA TRF), Marant inspired boots (Mango) and a cable knit from West L.A.

On set, sipping a RAW (Dubai based coffee roastery) latte.

Behind the scenes at work

The other day the alarm bell rang at 4 am. We were off to Fujairah to shoot a swimwear editorial.

I wore a new felt fedora which together with the landscape made me look a little bit like Indiana Jones.

Nadine and Sophie getting the girls ready. The models had to sit in the boot of a Peugeot but they were both being good sports about it. In general when shooting on remote locations there is very little glitz glamour or comfort either for that matter.

The gorgeous and lovely Natalia in a golden crochet bikini from West L.A store.

Maldives

As promised – images from my trip to the Maldives.

My assignment was to style a series of promotional material for a high end Maldivian resort; meaning the typical images that spring to mind when you think of brochures and catalogues of five star island resorts.

The entire team were international (Select and MOT models from London, South African photographer and make up artist), large production team etc.

One of my models was the male model hotness that is Jay Conroy (on the cover of this months Men’s fitness UK). P.S The stylist was up all night before the shoot steaming the entire content of her 5 suitcases she had to bring to the island, hence the puffy hamster face.

Gorgeous Bailey was another one of my models – Bailey writes a brilliant blog called The Model Foodie (link HERE) filled with brilliant healthy food recipes. Needless to say we got along really well!

Every morning the call time was 5 am (to capture the best light conditions). Having said that eating breakfast on the veranda of our water villas, overlooking the ocean made up for the early mornings!

Little shark cruising by my water villa whilst I was having my tea.

I spent 5 days sans make up, sans shoes.

It’s easy to spot me amongst the models, I am the short one 🙂

The stunning Coco Bodhu Hithi resort.

The shoot was meaning to showcase all the activities available within the resort so there was a yoga scene too.. Our model Shaundra is an actual yoga instructor so needless to say the images turned out amazing.

And on the last day it rained. Being from Dubai I enjoyed it tremendously so I mainly ran around literally dancing in the rain.

P.S Merry Christmas everyone!
