Currently in love with GUCCI’s latest collection of bucket bags. Bucket being the shape-du-jour the brand has jumped onboard a very current trend whilst staying true to the GUCCI heritage by using their signature diamante print. The only tough decision is what colour to choose from as they come in an array of crisp summer hues. Get yours HERE or at the Dubai Mall store. xxx

My obsession with unusual words continues.

On a fashion note: out of all the covetable CHANEL bags the one that is the closest to my heart at the moment is a Breton striped quilted one. It would marry well with pretty much everything in my closet.

When the ACNE distressed mid knee pencil skirt started circulating the blog sphere I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. In the recent past however it’s grown on me, but naturally I learned that it was sold out and nowhere to be found. This Current Elliott piece is a good runner up! (Link HERE).

New York based SUNO is a high-end collection with a conscience, utilizing the local talent of Kenya, India, Peru and New York to create a collection of unique prints, textures and embroideries. This beige woven crop is wonderfully intricate yet basic at the same time.

Last but not least: Breton stripes take 2; this time in yoga pant format from Reebok.

Tod’s

This week I haven’t had the time to scout online for a trifecta of favourites so one craving du jour will have to do.

I worked with Tod’s a few weeks ago as I dressed a lot of the male models in the Galleria Mall show in their signature loafers.

Whilst browsing the store I couldn’t help but nip over the ladies section and wondered what it would be like to wear comfortable shoes for once. Ok I am actually stretching the truth here because as opposed to Anna Dello Russos motto – that fashion and comfort should not go hand in hand – I quite often opt for the latter. With my lifestyle anything else would be ergonomic suicide.

Anyhow – Tod’s need no forther info, their craftsmanship is bespoke and the quality of the shoes is renown worldwide. Whilst most of their designs are classic these pony hair slippers (link HERE) are very ”now”.

How to wear them? With faded rolled up boyfriend jeans and a crisp deconstructed white shirt. Red lips are optional.
