When it comes to Friday brunches in Dubai they are divided in two types of vastly different experiences. One is an alcohol fueled extravaganza where food plays a very little role. I am never seen at one of those. The other is a classy and a proud showcase of the impressive restaurant scene that Dubai is home to. I am seen at those as often as I can.
If you scroll down the blog you’ll see I have written about The Cut and Chef Raymond before. It was refreshing to see however that even though it’s been almost a year since my last visit the quality of food and service has’t changed the slightest.
In Dubai we are lucky to have celebrity chef endorsed venues pop up every month. They tend to be grand for the first month or so but quickly loose their edge and commitment to quality before the ink on the departure boarding pass of the namesake celeb chef has dried.
The highlights of the brunch?
- The steaks (as anticipated seeing as The Cut takes great pride in their selection and preparation method of those);
- The deserts;
- The majestic views (make sure to enjoy the outdoors terrace now that the weather is mild again).
- The Bloody Mary cart. Best one in town.
